Clínica Galatea has two spaces designed to provide a better service to users.
Facilities
The Clinic is in Barcelona, in the middle of the Collserola mountains in a fully renovated building. It is located in a natural setting and surrounded by a garden and pine trees, providing patients with peace and clean air.
Our centre has all the facilities needed to treat addictions and mental disorders, as well as first-class hotel facilities:
Personal spaces
22 bright and comfortable individual rooms with a private bath. These include television, air-conditioning and an Internet connection (Wi-Fi).
Treatment spaces:
- 10 welcoming doctors’ and psychologists’ offices that provide a comfortable setting
- 3 functional, pleasant rooms for group therapy that promote teamwork
Recreational spaces and facilities:
- 2 lounges with TV-DVD, stereo and computers with an Internet connection
- 3 separate outdoor spaces for cohabitation
- A well-equipped gym
- Outdoor sports facilities (basketball, ping-pong, bocce, etc.)
The Espai Galatea was inaugurated in January 2024. It is a resource that wants to become a refuge for the attention and promotion of the well-being of health professionals. It hosts different programs and services, such as the ambulatory care of the Clínica Galatea (individual and group outpatient care) ans well astraining activities and collective interventions organized by the Fundació Galatea such as support for teams and organizations, working groups and support groups.
The center has:
- Groundfloor: reception, 7 medical offices and 1 nurse’s office with toxicology control.
- First floor: 4 classrooms and 1 auditorium (Ma Pau González auditorium).
The Espai Galatea offers a community health environment that aims to help health professionals to explore, heal and develop new skills and abilities. It also wants to be a platform for initiatives that have a multiplying positive effect on public health.
